Beauty is becoming

ADORED With a big heavy sigh, I adore Hydrangeas. They are a flower to swoon over if ever there was one! Natures counter balance to Springs Peonies. They make my heart heavy with a beauty that never seams to perish. Always magnificent from the moment they burst forth to the day the battering winds and rain finally destroy them. They look so delicate yet like the mighty thistle they are committed to witnessing the landscape and season change. Their petals turned paper thin and their colour eventually washed from them by the rain. Hydrangea's finally bid us farewell as Spring returns and they can no longer hold on and little by little the wind reduces them to broken fragments. What a story, what a triumph.
